Abstract

Against the background of a remarkable anniversary date, the 30th anniversary of the publication of L. Derbenev’s long-suffering lyrical poem “The Drunken Coachman”, the discussion of the famous Russian plot “power - the people” in responsible social service is being updated. The main thing that, according to the author, needs to be done is to put an end to Russia’s vicious insenium tardum - to serve the nation’s destiny by secularizing “great” projects; only that public modernization initiative is acceptable, which is sanctioned by the people.
