Abstract

In the broadest respect, semantics (semasiology), along with syntactics and pragmatics, is a section of semiotics (semiology) - the science of sign systems - subordinate to the task of identifying the meaning, establishing the meaning of linguistic (sign-informational) constructions. Taking into account the subject focus of the research of the latter, the analytical aspirations of semantics are differentiated: meaningfully, methodologically, methodically - searchingly - conceptual areas are isolated: linguistic, logical, philosophical semantics. The purpose of the following presentation is to clarify their cognitive claims through the prism of points of growth, contact and separation of disciplinary and interdisciplinary interaction, and development.
