Abstract

In search for ways to get out of the spiritual crisis, humanity tums to ancient knowledge. It is no wonder, as the genetic memory of the mythological, which is inherent in the consciousness, is a powerful spiritual potential. Myth is an effective spiritual instrument with humanistic value. Therefore, an appeal to the epic heritage is in high demand nowadays. On the other hand, many of the problems of the modern society lead to the necessity of forming a new landmark worldview. The key moment in the formation of a new system of thinking is the presentation of a new picture of the world. The worldview based on the synthesis of the scientific empirical cognition method and the metascientific cognition method. The authors of the article make an attempt to reconstruct the spatial model of the Sakha world from the perspective of the geometric picture of the world. The aim of the study is to identify and describe the structural-semantic unity of various forms of knowledge. To achieve the aim, the authors use methods that are widely practiced in folklore, as well as methodologies of synergetics, extrapolation, and hermeneutics. According to the authors’ hypothesis, the system of the universe of olonkho in two-dimensional geometry appears as a regular triangle, in three-dimensional geometry as a four-sided pyramid. Views reflecting the general spatial framework of the ancient olonkho and the geometric picture of the world provide a holistic perception and understanding of the unity of the universe.
